Fun with maps
The cartographer's life is hard, especially working with projections, but when it's time to enjoy there is nothing better than working with fun cartographic viewers to unleash our imagination. Countless official viewers have gone through the “ cover ” and the “ tuning ”. One of the most prostituted viewers in this regard is Google Maps . Others simply show some fun aspect or documentary to inform us and pass the time. Here are some of my favorite fun cartographic viewers.
NORSE: This viewer allows you to view the planet's cyberattacks, showing the countries of origin and destination of the attack. Through the control panel you can see the most punished countries, the IP of the attackers and the countries involved in the attack.
STAR WARS STREET VIEW: The viewer most used by lovers of the Star Wars saga. A Street View with three tuning modes to generate three views from the mythical spaceships of the dark side.
NUKEMAP: A good option to de-stress and place nuclear bombs where you most want and see the radius of influence of its devastating action. It is only necessary to select the geographical area, indicate the type of nuclear bomb and you will be able to see its destructive action through radius of influence.
DINOSAURS PICTURES: An interesting educational viewer to view the Earth in 3D and see how Pangea has evolved throughout history. Through the control options we can go to prehistoric moments in which the life of certain living beings began to notice the geographical context of Pangea.
2D DRIVING SIMULATOR: And for those who like speed, we can transform our street car into a fun car game. Managing the cursors of our keyboard we can go through the streets to de-stress. Of course, for the sadists, I'm sorry to tell you that the bloody outrage option is not available.
